Individual Psychotherapy for Adults
Individual psychotherapy is a one-to-one session with a licensed psychologist. It can help address a wide range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety disorders, personality-related difficulties, relationship issues, stress management, and more.
The frequency and duration of sessions are tailored to each individual’s needs and therapeutic goals. During the sessions, clients have the opportunity to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, as well as the challenges they are facing in a safe and supportive environment.
My therapeutic approach is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Together, we can work on a variety of concerns, including:
- Grief and loss
- Relationship difficulties
- Chronic health conditions
- Work-related stress
- Infertility
- Anger management
- Life transitions
- Low self-confidence
- Low self-esteem
- Assertiveness skills
- Social skills
- Academic difficulties (procrastination, dropping out, study difficulties, organisational challenges, adjustment difficulties, exam anxiety)
- Sexual orientation
- Mental health disorders
