Adult/Parent Counselling
Counselling for adults and parents is a supportive and collaborative process designed to help individuals navigate challenges, gain clarity, and develop more effective ways of coping and relating to others.
Parent counselling, in particular, focuses on supporting parents in understanding their children’s emotional and behavioural needs, while strengthening the parent, child relationship. Through this process, parents can develop practical tools and strategies to foster a healthy and supportive family environment.
Some of the areas we may work on include:
- Understanding adolescents’ emotions and behaviours
- Communication skills and strengthening relationships
- Problem-solving skills
- Grief and loss
- Supporting children or adolescents with chronic health conditions
- Parenting guidance and support
- Navigating separation or divorce
- Body image concerns in children and adolescents
